Source another device and lock it with your own fingerprint - you then have a control and if you can unlock your own you know your process works and you can then determine whether it is the old fingerprints that are actually the issue.

It keeps being too shallow. I think this will cause issues with the recognition… I needed something less shallow but I don't have that PCB technology!

Or maybe you do have it, and you just don't know that you have it. 😯

From experience, wife (mine at least) may not be very happy with the use of the iron and with the cannibalizing of one of her magazines, but some risk is to be expected anyway… and I wouldn't dare to pilfer her hair straightener
