Hi,

I have this phone in for data acquisition

G930F
8.0.0/R16NW/G930FXXS7ESK1
FRP ON
AP SWREV B7 K5 S6

Is there any way to bypass pattern lock on this without data loss?

I cannot find any ENG_ROOT for Binary 7.

Thanks and best regards!

EFT Dongle or ChimeraTool might be able to bypass it without data loss

Cellebrite can do the job on most modern Samsungs (but I realise this is an unhelpful answer having read your other recent post).

EFT doesn't support U7 firmware. They have eng root up to and including U5, so that's off the table. There's also no U7 combination firmware to get sboot from so flash method won't work as well. Same issue with BMT and most likely Chimera as well.

UFED supports it, but it may leave backup pin and fingerprints still on the device so while the phone won't be locked anymore, you can set a new lock without knowing the backup pin.

Thanks for your replies everybody. Still trying to acquire UFED or otherwise will have to outsource this case.

Best regards!

Try using Andriller. It's free, so don't get your hopes to high but it is worth a shot.

This kind of useless comments aren't helpful at all and lead to false hopes for resolving the issue!

@OP if it is a single case task, you better outsource it
