i have no experience with JTAG capable box's. /RIFF, octoplus etc/ we r looking for 1 product to start with, which one you guys will recommend? About 70% of the market is flooded with various samsung phones area i live in.
In case of 90% actuall phones JTAG are disabled, only way to get physical dump is by using eMMC ISP connection so you got few options
- Riff Box 2 (riff BOX 1 is discontinued) - which can works in 1 or 4 bit bus width and up to 52 Mhz clock for eMMC ISP, support also JTAG
- Medusa PRO - also support 1 and 4 bit communication, clock freq up to 26 Mhz , also support JTAG and eMMC ISP
- eMMC PRO - support 1 and 4 bit communication and clock up to 28 Mhz, works only for eMMC transmission
- OctoPlus - support only JTAG connection, not possible to work with eMMC unless you will buy Medusa upgrade kit
- ATF Gold - works in JTAG and eMMC ISP with clock freq. up to 15 Mhz
- Z3x Easy JTAG - works with JTAG, eMMC ISP with 1 bit communication and clock up to 21 Mhz/24 Mhz (in Z3x Plus)
