I'm looking at a hard drive from a CCTV unit, the drive is formatted Linux. It appears all data is stored in Unallocated Clusters, and after some research with the manufacturer i've found out the videos are made in h.264 format. Does anyone know of the headers and footers for h.264 so that i can pull the files out of UC?

Thanks in advance!

What make is it? Samsung? If it is, you're lucky, ask me.

I usually make searches looking for MPEG headers starting with "000001" in binary.

You may be able to find it here… File Sigs They have signatures for formats like MKV, MPEG, etc.
