Any suggestions?
We have an older SOLO3 Forensic duplicator that still runs like a champ for physical drive connections. However the ICS-LINKMASSTER software that was suppose to allow us to recover from machine through fire wire or USB with that boot disk does not work. Possible just too old. no New patches being done.
We have had some success with OSF Clone on a boot disk.
You do not say what machine you are trying to clone, or why you cannot remove the physical drive.
A common approach is to boot with a Lynux type CD and if nothing else do a DD transfer. I think at this there point there are many options.
I suggest you to try Sumuri Paladin, DEFT or Kali Linux live media.
There are many similar Linux based live booting medias which could be used to solve your task, the ones I mentioned are my personal preferences.
