I don't debate pollution ( although natural disasters such as volcanic activity, earthquate and flood are perfectly capable of rendering a natural water source unfit to drink ), I do find it a little hard to accept though that diseases such as Cholera, Typhoid, Malaria are being caused by mankind in the last 80 years.
The earliest _recorded_ Cholera epidemic is 1563 in India.
Some research suggests that the death of Alexander the Great was caused by either malaria or typhoid in 323BC.
I would strongly suggest that this would be indicitive of the fact that clean water is not something that can be expected in large parts of the world regardless of the local levels of man made pollution …
( See, here at Forensic Focus you get a well rounded education 😉 )
Why is it when you bottle water from a natural spring thats been running for many years do you suddenly get a 'use by date'? -)
I think it has something to do with the plastic dissolving.
But the eco-brigade keep telling me it never dissolves and its mounting up in the oceans!
(ok this has really gone off topic now) 😉
So, did anyone in this thread actually invest in Helix3 and pony up the coin?
Or did you take the coin and purchase a UV sterilization unit to purify your water?
😉
Cheers!

I bought the purification tablets lol 😉
I have a Helix subscription, and, learning from my overseas experience I drink Gin & Tonic, which not only solves the issue of clean water, but the quinnine keeps malaria down as well. 😉
