I just wanted to introduce myself to the site, which I feel will be invaluable in my studies. I am about to start my Computer Forensics course at Sunderland university and I am extremely looking forward to it. I fully intend to use the opprtunity to do a placement year so tht I can get some expereince in what happens in real time situations. i know it's going to be a lot of hard work bit I am sure that the end result will be very rewarding. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in the near future but I will try not to hassle you lot too much.. Excellent site by the way, keep up the good work..
Reading the EnCE study guide book over the first year of the course should be a great help. When your doing practicals and assignments you will know how to utilize Encase better = possible higher grades!!
I will look that book up Cluster, thanks for the tip…
good luck!! i loved 1st year!!
I had my confirmation letter through today at long last. No turning back now.. September 21st here we come..
Good Luck! You've got a brillant guy over there called Alistair Irons- used to teach at Northumbria before moving to Sunderland. Hes a great lecturer and a great guy to talk to aswell- very knowledgable.
Good luck and well done on getting in !
Thanks, I met him at the open day and he is one of the reasons why I chose to go to Sunderland… 2 weeks and it all starts, I can't wait to get in there now.
