I tried AZR and it crashes when I try to select the remaining part (the last part) of the spanned file. When I select the other parts, which don't show up in explorer but show up in AZR as .z_0*(Part *), it says it cannot repair the files.

WinRAR gives me
! I\Backup\First try\1_C.z01 No files repaired
! I\Backup\First try\1_C.z02 No files repaired
etc.

It does recover the last part of the spanned file, which has about 10% of the files I actually want.

ZipRepairPro also just finds the last part of the spanned Zip file.

I couldn't get Stellar Phoenix to repair or find anything.

Recovery Toolbox for Zip says "not handled system error while file analyzing"

Most of the programs make me select a .zip file to analyze rather than allowing me to scan the whole drive for archived data.

I made a FTK image of the ipod using AccessData FTK imager and the log file isn't too long if you want me to post it.

Sorry to be dense, but do the signatures show up in the text portion of the hex editor?
