Hideit! Pro

I have dealt with dozens and dozens of Android devices and have never seen this. I would like to know anything and everything about this.

I have yet to examine the phone, but what I know is this app hides photos on the SD card in a hidden sub-directory and the files are password protected. If the SD card is imaged the hidden sub-directory is captured and the files have an extension of jpg.enc. The files are not captured using a Cellebrite UFED. Hideit Pro belongs to the military class cryptography systems. It utilizes the RSA 128-bit per key algorithm. The sub-directory can be viewed by looking directly at the card. they are in a sub-directory with the hidden attribute. I am to examine the phone next week and was hoping to get some background before the examination. I will keep you posted as to what I find out during the examination.
