Hi all,

those of you serving search warrants might want to take a close look at innocent looking phone jacks.

This website describes how to hide a thumbdrive in a wall

Happy hunting!

Given that thumb drives can take virtually any shape finding every piece of evidence is becoming more of a problem. In order to conduct a thorough search you'd have to check every square inch of the property, including food, toys, watches, rings, coal, 'damaged' usb cables, christmas decorations, and the list goes on.

In reality there is only so much that we can do, if we miss something there is one of two ways to look at it (serious generalisation coming)

1) If the 'missed' evidence vindicates the defendant then they will be in a hurry to bring it to their attention.

2) If the 'missed' evidence has substantial evidence on it then a thorough investigation of a computer will show that such devices were used. If the defendant makes no mention of it until this point it looks bad for them for not disclosing it.

Now, I realise that this is generalised, but I also like doing that to encourage some discussion.

I like. But I still prefer hiding things in my stuff toys though. So if anything goes wrong… just give it to the closest kid ASAP. Surely cops aren't going to try and confiscate the cute cuddly bear. P jk'n.

Good Read.
