Its big question for me that Hard disk master password how to remove?
If its firmware based you need to use a tool like PC3000. If its full disk encryption that's a whole different matter and depending on the tool potentially uncrackable unless you have 2000 years to kill

Doesn't your computer expert deal with these? 😯

Theres also the salvation data "HD Doctor" which apparently works too.
Might be worthwhile shooting an email to Scott Moulton over at "myharddrivedied.com" and ask him to include it in a podcast episode because its something everyone could benefit from hearing.
AFAIK the answer is a "suffusion of yellow".
There are two different levels of ATA passwords.
There are know methods for some make/models of disks that need NOT to use a PC3000 or similar "specialized" hardware.
The last post (by JWCC) here

summarizes the situation quite well IMHO.

I just had a quick look on the website, the terrible grammar usage reminds me of the emails I sometimes get from the Prince of Nigeria 😉

Which site? 😯
Salvation Data's?
I seem to remember that the firm is Chinese, I would really like to be able to write Chinese how they write English.
AFAIK the firm itself and it's products are OK.

I don't know, I simply found "queer" that someone who locks his hard disk with bitlocker, forgets his/her password, posts here asking how to recover it, and has a "pc computer expert" handy willing to do it
http//www.forensicfocus.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=9533/
I take to my pc computer expert and he doing my work.
A few days later manages (possibly) to lock himself/herself out of another disk by misusing the ATA password feature AND in 5 (five) days manages to
- decide to fork from some serious amount of bucks
- order a "highly specialized" hardware tool
- have it delivered
- learn how to use it "generically"
- learn how to use it "specifically" o recover an ATA password
- actually succeed in recovering the password
- post here a one-liner confirming success
I wondered more about something "lost in translation" since user batlon13 is from Dhaka, and is alternating posts where he/she sounds like a DF pro to ones more likely to come from a "newbie"

but now that you raise the question, it seems like recently an user with nick batlon13 has subscribed to half the forums on the 'net, and posted there any number of mostly senseless posts/questions (and has been kicked out by most of them)

Jaclaz, you are right on.
