Do some exploration of the registry on your own machine and I'm sure you'll find the answers to these questions easily enough.

Posing home work questions on multiple forums will likely not get you answers any faster than just following what other users have suggested.

since when asking something you don't understand has become a sin?
how do u know that i did not yet to follow others suggestions and learn what i want to learn?

Anyone who can appreciated knowledge should had been through the self studying progress/frustration. In case you are too narrow mind to understand what i mean, that is reading, studying, don't understand, keep researching but no clue then decide to ask for help.

I think the question i posted did not bordering you AT ALL.

So if you don't want to help, please shut the fxxk up, stop your conspiracy and don't spoil my mood to study.

Such a narrow mind people, shame on you.

i have decide to remove my question not because of a jxxk like you, is because some other who is willing to share his knowledge as is this forum intended to did give me a great help.

therefore i thanks to them and wish them a very a successfully 2010 but you.

So why delete your post here?

Asking questions to further knowledge is noble. Asking questions without research is lazy.

The post on the other forum gave you the steps to use the tool. Do you know how to find the answer manually?

And now you munged the post on the other site so no one else can learn from your post.

tsk tsk tsk

It isn't, however, asking questions when you could have found most of the answers using Google Custom Search (which is in the upper left hand of the Web page) to search this site, can be considered bad form. For example, I put in the expression "Windows version" and the third hit returned

http//www.forensicfocus.com/downloads/forensic-analysis-windows-registry.pdf

The document answers most of your questions (I can't say, for sure, if it answers all since the message has been deleted).

The rest of your message was uncalled for and risky. I don't think that I'd be so quick to slam members of a forum whose advice I was seeking, even if they didn't answer my questions.

You contradict yourself by then pulling your question on this board and others. Now anyone else who gets to the same position as you will not have the opportunity to learn from sharing. Why not just be humble say, yes it was easier that I might have thought and post your steps and findings? Instead you become the type of person you criticize.

chemical349 please repost your question. If you want to remove something. Remove the response to Bitthead.

Be patient and polite when seeking guidance from others. Even if you do not get the response you expect. 😉

Good luck with your research.
