Hello.
I need your help. I have 3 same hard disks. Appearingly the disks were to merge on RAID. I don't know exactly. Leastwise, I saw the disks in HEX-editor and all the disks have the same record in 1,2 sectors about RAID (see link attachment https://ibb.co/g64bMk ).
How to know whether the disks were from one RAID or not? How many do disks be in RAID?
Thanks in advance.

P.S. Can I to attachment pictures on this site or need to use other online foto storages? I can't find this option.

That's an Areca RAID controller. I can determine the RAID settings in just a few minutes, but I'd need to look at each of the drives myself in HEX. PM me if you'd like to set something up.

The drive you posted the picture of is drive number 01 in the set (numbering starts at 00) so it's at the very least a part of a two drive set.

I've had some luck using RAID Reconstrutor. The best tool for us out there is Xways Forensics or Specialist for rebuilding RAIDs. I would place all three drives in Xways, View > Synchronize Windows, to get all drives "on the same page". Go to the RAID metadata. Then select View > Synchronize & Compare, and the differences will be highlighted. The drive order should stand out.

I already helped him solve this one. Took about 10 minutes via Teamviewer for me to find the parameters and build him a virtual array.
