In one case,there are many CD/DVD disks. I need make MD5 hashs to everyone disk When I use Winhex to do it,I find there is a error.
In test,make a CD/DVD disk MD5 hash twice with Winhex,there are two different Hash values.
Especialy when I copy a 500M video file from CD/DVD disk to hard disk twice,tow result files large is not equal ,though they can be normally see by video software.
I would use dd if=/dev/[CD/DVD] redirected to a MD5 command in a Linux environment (Helix, for example). Hope this helps

ftk imager,cd/dvd inspector,winhex etc.
also for copy file(s) you can use winhex func.-"trusted download" or evidence mover software

Well… in fact you don't need to write anything when calculating a hash. All you need is to read from the CD.
Well now, if your physical device is not working properly, or even if the lens is damaged you will probably not be able to do anything. Try in any other computer.
If the problem goes on, it will be probably a problem of the CD itself and then… well… just cross your fingers and pray that the sectors can be read D
