I'm afraid that it's not BGA162, BGA169 or any other usual eMMC chips. It's a very special and old chip, I want to know that what's wrong with the phone, only physical broken or still has other cases? Maybe it still can be dataed back.

Dear experts,

The adapters

Any suggestions will be appreciate,

Regards

Hello,Alicezhang, Thanks for your help. This HTC g14 is broken, and usb connector has problem can't connector to PC,So we decide to chip-off.
For details We can talk it later.See PM

This is weird board, just another modification of HTC Sensation.
The chip is completely different than usual.
In theory it's possible to reverse engineer it if you can make high res XRAY pictures.

I would send an email to Teel Tech, they're great to getting back to the customers. I'm sure they can give you some insight..

Hello Paul1913, it gave me great pleasure to hear that Teel Tech and YOU can help me out for this case,we can talk it later in emails or SKYPE.Thank you.

You will not find socket for this since this is MMP (Multichip Memory Package) - please look to it from side (not from top) … if you require to get specification/pinout for NAND protocol as well as xRay you can check this http//www.techinsights.com/reports-and-subscriptions/open-market-reports/Report-Profile/?ReportKey=7906

Only way to get data it's to separate this chip as you can see edges and connection of them. After this you will get two chips - probably it's glued so be cerfull. Once done will get then standard NAND with normal BGA layout for standard sockets… same situation are with for example Note 4 Edge where eMCP package are installed and you need to separate this chip to get standard BGA529 eMMC

Can't remember for the life of me what was the company that we used in a similar situation.

Something Swarmboard, or schwarmboard, .. swarmaboard? Their logo looks a bit like Einstein.

They make all kinds of universal breakout PCBs, for all variety of esoteric chips…

Now this is going to drive me crazy.

I remembered! Ahahahaha! mrgreen

It is called Schmartboard.

I know what you mean but it's not what I mean - it will not work on Note 4 Edge where BGA 529 are glued and connected with CPU

In fact, we've got the 2 glued chips and found that they're not the restored data chip, of course, they're not emcp529 also.
