It depends on where you are and how active the local chapter is…I think the HTCIA chapter in Atlanta sponsored the Southeast Cybercrime Summit.

I believe that's correct.

The old chestnut is they don't allow in anyone working for the defence, I believe. There's a fairly old letter which addresses that here but I have no idea if that policy or the thinking behind it has changed since then, though.

Defense organizations don't necessarily keep you out because you are LE, most of them keep you out because you are NOT a JD. If you were LE and had a JD you can get into most all organizations that I know of if not all of them.

The data on the computer is what it is whether we are LE, defense, fortune 500, etc. What is the free exchange of ideas when someone else may information that could greatly assist the cause but is kept out based on some silly rule that should have been taken care of in 2002.
