I am examining a computer with a folder on the user's desktop named "iChat File Promise pHx". I was wondering if anybody could tell me what software program creates a folder named that? There are several pictures located within it. The only chat programs I found on this drive were Yahoo! Messenger and AIM. I've googled it and haven't found anything.
Could it be that a user created it?
If you ignore the fact that a desktop folder could be named just about anything, and you didn't specify OS…
I would guess that as "iChat" client is used on a Mac to talk to AIM users on PCs, so possibly "the User" has / or uses a Mac and habitually names saved iChat downloads as "iChat File subject / senders screen name".
Promise pHx ? The hospital in Phx ? Promise "style" Pyrex glass ? Without context found elsewhere in evidence pHx is just 3 chars.
HTH
There is always that possibility…I just thought it was a unique file name and was wondering if anybody knew of a software program that creates a file of that unique name.
Bear in mind you can also communicate via the Jabber protocol (and over Bonjour for that matter) using iChat
