Alright guys, I fancy doing a cert cos I havnt done one for a while. Ive only got EnCE and CCE so was wondering what additional ones anyone recommends?
Im not convinced about CEH and CHIF so any others out there that are worth a punt?
or should i just shut up lol (
What's your aim in getting another certification?
I'm tempted by CEH - after doing some research and looking at a sample paper I'm having my doubts. Apparently, if you're doing an ACK scan and receive an ICMP packet then the port is closed.
Also, if you want to just take the exam without going on the training you first need to pay the EC-Council a (non refundable) $100 fee and apply for permission. Just to clear that up; they can refuse you permission, demand you go on their training and keep your $100.
And at the end of that you end up with a qualification which most people in the industry consider to be a joke.
i dont really have an aim just wanted to try and complete another one and hopefully aquire a little knowledge along the way. I quite like the practical side to the CCE/EnCE, are there any more that are similar or are we talking multichoice tests only?
wat does everyone else have?
CFCE?? looks quite in depth, is it worth it? anyone done it/ recommend it?
