Hello everyone.

I've searched around the interwebz, and it looks like that this entry is related to "single click installation apps" (?).

since a log file is generated in the Temporary internet file history, but as usual, it's not clear text,
does anyone know if there is a way to parse it and what informations can be found inside?

i'm worried that it might be related to a malware infection on a network.

You may try a tool named "Windows IE cookies Viewer"
http//www.pythonclub.org/_media/windows/software/mumayiiecookies.rar?id=windows%3Asoftware%3Aview-ie-cookie&cache=cache

Here is a copy of open sourceIEHist
http//www.cqure.net/tools/iehist-src-0_0_1.zip

There are mainly two ways to solve ur question
1google "format of index.dat"
2reverse tools like IE cookies viewer
try to see, how it works, how it reads the ie log file

Good Luck~
