I'm not convinced about the interest in reading interviews from forensic boffins but seeing as mine was posted recently I feel obliged to mention it.

I'm not quite sure why on earth I was asked, although on second thoughts I do, it was a case of my CEO was asked and he CBA so it got passed down the line. It was sort of reminiscent of being in the police where an MP writes to the Chief Constable complaining about something and in it there are the words computer and Internet so it immediatley gets passed down to the ACC, who passess it on to the Head of CID and then down through all intervening ranks until it lands on the desk of the HTCU Sgt. He is actually the first to read the letter to find that the MP is complaining about the theft of computers from a local school and the fact the kids can't access the Internet so has b****r all to do with the HTCU but the Sgt is left with the job of replying. The good old days!
