I got some private messages with not so nice contents stating that what I wrote about in previuos posts is not possible, etc.

I take a single task for a free test. Whoever is the first, is the first!

Whoever has doubts, send me for opening without any costs a dummy Huawei FIG-LX1 Android 8 device with a 4 digits lock set by yourself and unknown for me.

Opening a 6 digits lock works the same, just it takes more time, I'm not willing to take that for a free test.

On success all I ask for is a feedback here stating the success 🙂

Let's take the mobile forensics to another level!

Has anyone taken up your offer? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for updates. 😊

No, when it comes to real proof, I got mostly cowards with big mouth around 😎

The offer is still alive... But I think it will become obsolete because of no interest. Still, worldwide LE agencies are loosing a chance to many devices.

Not my problem 🤗

I got asked several times if the method works on broken devices. No, it doesn't, the device has to be fully operational, otherwise it is not possible to open it.

Chip-off isn't an option because the encryption is on by default. If the device isn't operational, the TZ isn't operational either, thus I don't see a way for extracting data from a broken device with Kirin 659 chip.

Ha, good one passcodeunlock. No doubt you can pull it off 😉 Why dont you 'sell' your firehose to a big compagny, they will get a hold on the technique in time..

It's not a firehose, it's slow brute force, as I wrote earlier.

I do a pretty good living from mobile and computer forensics, why would I sell anything ?!

A Huawei ANE-LX1 with Android 9 was turned in for test! Finally!

It got an unknown swipe lock. The opening process finished with success, after that a physical acquisition was also done with success!

The party turning in the device is a LE, I can't publish their name here. I was granted to publish the results here in an anonymous way!
