Hi all.

I'm trying to find some methods of obtaining a complete (or close to complete) system image of a Nexus 6P without rooting the device/or unlocking the bootloader. Is this possible?

The device is my own and I could root if possible but for research purposes I want the phone unrooted.

I know I can do an ADB backup but this won't capture everything on the device.

Not sure if it's even possible at the moment so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Model Nexus 6P
Android Version 8.0.0
Security Patch Level October 5, 2017
Baseband version Angler-03.84
Build number OPR5.170623.007

As far as I know, physical extraction is not possible without rooting the device. (

Hmm that's a shame.

How could I go about obtaining a physical image when rooted? I'm guessing I'd need Cellebrite/Oxygen Forensics?

I suggest that you read

you can also use a free software, like Magnet Acquire
