Indexing evidence items in FTK

I have a HDD image imported into FTK and want to use the "internet keyword search" and "data carving" option from the "tools" menu, however they are not available for selection.
I understand that the only reason for this can be that the evidence has not been indexed, and so to save me time importing the whole image again i was wondering if there was a way to index the evidence after it has been imported??

Any info on this is greatly appreciated, thankyou
