I don't know how much credence to give these people http//www.inquisition21.com/index.php?module=pagemaster&PAGE_user_op=view_page&PAGE_id=189

but they talk about a report by the police on Operation Sledgehammer.

It sounds like a report a defence examiner should have seen but I have not heard of any one that has.

Does anyone know anything about this? Does such a report exist or is it just bashing authority and conspiracy theory?

Pat

Perhaps Mr Parsonage could comment. He would be Nottingham around then. Seems like a bit of stirring to me by someone

if you look at this other posts, you get the idea that he is ok with child rape, since in the old days it wasn't a big deal. Looks like pro-CP content on the website. http//www.inquisition21.com/index.php?module=pagemaster&PAGE_user_op=view_page&PAGE_id=4&MMN_position=54

Yes these people seem to have some seriously twisted logic so the sledghammer story is probably similar.

Encouraging anyone to visit inquisition21 must be close to an offence of abstracting electricity or at least a waste of internet bandwidth. However on this occasion there is an element of truth in the post. I wrote a report which identified significant errors in the technical assessment circulated in the national briefing document. The CPS agreed that in some circumstances my report amounted to material which could undermine the prosecution case and so should be disclosed to the defence as such. If a defence examiner is working on a Sledgehammer job then they should ask the instructing solicitor if they have had a disclosure.

Mr Parsonage

Can you give us some more details of the errors and the significance to the defence?

BTW what is abstracting electricity?

'Abstracting electricity' is a specific theft offence covered by Theft Act 1968 s.13

There is insufficient space here to give an explanation and do it justice. I would suggest the most appropriate means is via disclosure in a relevant case.
