when iam try to install helix in vmware it stuck in the middle of installation,after the partition of disk,i select 600 X 400 display setting,and
two processors,i can boot the live cd in vmware,but installation stuck please help me
This is a pre-configured Helix (2008) virtual machine. It may help, depending how you are trying to use Helix.

I know this reply is a bit late, but I couldn't seem to find my answer on this forum.
I was running into a similar issue when installing Helix 2008R1 on VirtualBox. Installation always freezes after creating the username and password, so I ran into this link http//
The author mentioned the following steps
1. Installation has to be started after live CD is booted by going to System->Administration->Install
2. Just follow the instructions and after you get to the Who are you screen, press Forward and here is the trick. The installation would usually stop there due to some problems with os-prober not being able to find volume groups. The trick is to press cancel and start the installation procedure again. It should work after that.
It's working for me now. Do note that you should go to the link and read it till the end because there's still going to be some issues with certain tools that don't want to work after the installation.
