Hi,

I would be interested to hear from any members of this forum about the above Institute. I am thinking of applying to join. Is it a worthwhile Institute to join?

Thansk & Regards,

If the names of the board of directors are anything to go by, then it does appear to be a very worthwhile institute to join. The anual fee of $29.00 will not break the bank either.

Does look interesting; spotted Craig Earshaw, Nigel Jones and Paul Sanderson as UK based board members. Definately seems worthy of further investigation.

Our equivalent here, the Council for the Registration of Forensic Practitioners seems to have had a rather rough inception to date.

Many thanks for all your input. I have submitted my application, and references for consideration.

Thanks to all.

This sure looks interesting.

However, what does being part of this actually means on a pratical level. How does it all work ? I had a look at the site, but it does look a little vague for me…

Anyone has any more practical information ?

Thanks

Marc

The ICFP is nothing like CRFP in the UK. CRFP accredits individuals in forensic disciplines which is not the primary goal of ICFP.

All,

I realize this is an old thread, but has anyone had any recent contact with the ICFP? I've been a member, but find it quite difficult to get any answer from them in regards to my membership status and/or becoming more involved.

Regards,

Jesse
