Hi there,
I have obtained an internship position as Internet investigator. I would like to get some information about available software/tools that can be useful for location targets (people/companies) online.
Also maybe you know about courses I can take on the subject (online or in-class).
Thank you.

What has the company you're working for given you for resources? Also, what research have you done on the subject and what have you come up with (what courses / information have you found on your own) ?
Perhaps give us an idea of what you have done…

Resources? )
Well..let's see. 2 laptops and a printer. I use open source resourses. Public records, databases, social networking sites. I have also purchased Copernic Agent Pro.
I look at pretty much anything I can find on a target - court records, hobbies, adresses.
Is there a general guideline/checklist that I can follow during my investigation?
