This is a brilliant idea!

Based on this search I have collaborated the hard drive spares websites I use (data recovery specific) and built a similar search, if this is of use to you, it can be accessed here http//www.google.com/cse/home?cx=0118679227848724931286vt8_adlkk4

The list of sites I am currently using is as follows (in no particular order other than how it was copied and pasted)

http//stores.ebay.co.uk/FarnboroughIT
http//www.accesscomputerparts.net
http//www.donordrives.com
http//www.hdd-parts.com/
http//stores.ebay.co.uk/Darius-HDD-solutions
datadonor.net
laptopdrivestore.com
http//hddparts.blogspot.com/
ultratecdirect.com
hdd-donor.com
socalresellers.com

If you feel you can add to this list I would welcome any suggestions, sorry to hijack the thread, I will move it if necessary (or request it be moved), maybe hardware would be more appropriate..?

Craig
