Trying to learn more about folders found within an iPhone extraction.

What is the difference between:

private/var/mobile/Media/DCIM

private/var/mobile/Media/PhotoData/Thumbnails/V2/DCIM

Just the thumbnails are in Photodata? does the V2 mean anthing?
