we have here Oxygen Forensic Suite and also the Elcomsoft Passwort breaker.
At the moment we have an iPhone 3G with 8GB and the phone is PIN locked (not from the SIM). how we can read out, without knowing the code? Or is it possible to crack the code with some tools?
Do you know what firmware it is running?
The old backup says it 3.0.1, but i think now they have 3.1.3, but not newer!
If it is running 3.1.3 then you could use the Zdziarski tools to remove the passcode.
Possibly look at the Cellebrite UFED kit as well as I believe they can bypass the lock code on this hardware/firmware combination. There are representatives of Cellebrite on here that could confirm that.
We also have Cellebrite….but is not so good for iPhone, only SMS but now app data etc. can exported!
The Zdziarski is expensive…;(
From the old backup (Firmware 3.0.1) i also have the PasswordHistory.plist, ist it possible to calculate the code….possible its the same now?!
I cant comment on other products / methods, but iXAM can bypass the passcode and read all the data from your device.
Please feel free to PM me for more info, or contact FTS via the website.
We offer a 30day trial before you buy if you want to be sure iXAM is for you
thanks,

What firmware version does iXAM support upto?

iXAM v2 supports ALL firmware versions of iPhone, except version 1.
The previous iXAM v1 does support version 1, so in the rare chance you came across an iPhone running firmware 1, we could still help.
As well as iPhone, iXAM works on iPods, and the iPad 1. Support for iPad 2 and the Verizon iPhone 4 is currently being added.
Thanks,
Tom
Just been speaking to someone from your office in regards to this, he will be sending me some more info and hopefully info on how to obtain the trail version - sounds like a good piece of kit to test out and compare
