not totally agree.

UFEDPA can do physical extraction of iPhone 4
Lantern can do physical extraction of iPhone 4
once there was a tool redistributed for free Lantern Lite, which could do physical extraction of iPhone 4.

the last one i don't know if it's available anymore, i think it's been removed from the site and the github project is no more.

by the way i agree with the fact that bombone didn't provide enaugh detail to provide any further help

bombone,

Did you manage to do an extraction and did not get deleted data recovered or you did not manage to perform the physical extraction at all.

Which version of UFED PA are you using? IS it the latest 3.9.5?
Did you update to the latest iOS support package?
Do you know which iOS version is running on this iPhone 4?

Did you try to contact Cellebrite customer support?
You can do this by using the technical support form and you will be answered briefly

Regards,
Ron

I made some tests with my old iPhone 2. I used the UFED PA.

When the iPhone has been initialized to factory values, I couldn't recover data from the iPhone.
