Hi Everyone,

so yes people are smarter now, when an iphone comes to you and says" iphone 5s is disabled try again in 2 million years" is there anyway round that?

Other than wiping the phone from DFU mode?

THANKS!

2 million years or 22 million minutes? ?

Maybe you can have it sync the date/time? (of course how much "forensic sound" this may be is to be evaluated, and this won't of course remove the password)

and there are various reports about different ways to have it re-sync, from inserting a 3G SIM to connecting it via USB to a MAC ….

Connecting the handset to the machine in which it was synced with will correct the time and date issue and allow you to re-insert a passcode.

I think its an issue with the battery going completely flat whilst being disabled. The internal clock resets itself to 1970 whilst the disabled timer is set to the last unsuccessful passcode attempt.

As I said if you connect it to a machine which has the pairing key of the device it SHOULD re-sync a date and time. This has worked for us before whereby re-inserting a SIM Card hasn't.

Regards

Chris

More people do not sync their mobile phones to a laptop nowadays, and this is our case. The iphone has not been synced with a computer.

Thanks anyway guys!!
