Hello,
As stated in the General forum, I can't do my original project idea. What I was thinking of developing is a small tool that interprets an image of an iphone.
Would using c++ for this be a sensible choice?
How will you image the iphone (assuming you're attempting an iphone4 to remain current)?
I was told that the university has several image files already stored.
I'm certain they're not iphone 4 images wink
I don't foresee any particular issues with basing a carving tool on C++. Several tools have been written in C, including the popular Scalpel which is often used already to carve images from iphone 3 and below.
"that interprets an image of an iphone."
Could you be more specific - (not that C++ is a bad idea for anything) - do you mean carving? Interpreting files pulled from the logical file system?..
