Is anyone aware of a method to extract the iPhone password in firmware 3.0+ without having access to the computer the iPhone has synced with? I know the Cellebrite can bypass these passwords in firmware 2.x and below, but in the most recent instructions it mentions needing the pList file from the computer the iPhone synced with.
Our lab currently has the Cellebrite Physical Pro, CellDek, Paraben's Device Seizure 3.3, and AccessData's Mobile Phone Examiner 3.0.
The case should arrive on my desk within the next few days and any help would be greatly appreciated.

his automated method includes using iliberty+ or you could try his manual method which includes creating a custom ramdisk. Not sure if it would work for the firmware version you are refering to though.

Supposedly the new version of Latern from Katana Forensics can bypass the iPhone password. Of course I'm assuming that's what you want to do.

There is mention of working with 3.1.X but as far as that specific version I would say you might need to contact him directly.

I had an email from JZ today stating he will be adding 3.1.3 shortly… So I guess it just a matter of watch this space.
Just as a side note, if you are non-LE you can get access to the tools as well. However, you have to put together a group of at least 10 people and pay for it. Once you do that you can get access to his tools as well (for how long and for how much it costs I have no idea).
And he gave me that information directly.
