Is there a way of forensic watermarking in IPv6? A special case requires us for a very targeted approach of Lawful Interception with payload feed-in (TR-069 running on CPE).

Anybody top of tech in this area?

Have you looked into MAR-ICBW (Multi-flow Attack Resistant Interval Centroid Based Watermarking) as a possible adaptation for forensic watermarking?

It allows an encoder to use multiple seed values (s 1 , . . . , sn) and enables selection and choice in picking one of them at random for each flow.

If you are selecting the seed values then the forensic procedure is very much within your control and, possibly/potentially, less likely to be attacked.
