I found this board while looking around and hoped someone would have experience with the EnCE to lead me in the right direction without breaking any testing rules.

Been doing the hands on for about 3 weeks now. I don't have a mentor which is making this a little rough. Been sitting on Q17 and 18 for a week and not making headway. Guidance says I can have a mentor, but I don't know anyone that uses this software.

thanks in advance to all

Call Jo Baum from Guidance Software Tel 626-229-9191 x 250, and she'll get you a mentor.

FYI I found that I made many of the questions much harder than they needed to be. Most of the time, the research took a few min & then the majority of my time was spent documenting what I found. (Just like real life)

I just mailed it out! I also had a few email tags with Jo. Someone threw me a hint and I could have kicked myself for not catching it. I ran a “process” and from what I can deduct, I didn’t save the case file when exiting. It never dawned on my to run it again since I thought I had already done it.

The downside of doing the exam between work issues.

I don’t want to jinx myself, but it didn’t seem impossible. Just a ton of articulating what I had and why it was there. Since I had no mentor to guide me step by step, I had to rely on the way I used to write up criminal complaint reports in the NYPD.
