Dear All,
A friend in the UK has a software program that he wants to protect. Does anyone know of any good IT Software laywers based in the UK?

What do you mean by protect? In the UK software is automatically protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Your friend may find this link useful http//
His only problem may be if he was working as an employee writing software when he produced this software. (In this case the copyright may belong to his employer).
