Hi,

I have run the recover keys on an iPhone 4 on 4.3.3 firmware. It has finished it's process and keeps looping in recovery mode.

I am receiving an error which is shown below

[WMRERR] NAND format invalid (mismatch, corrupt, read error or blank NAND device)
[WMRERR] boolSignatureFound false boolProductionFormatVerified true nSig 0x0
***************************************************************************
************************************************************************
AND NAND initialisation failed due to format mismatch or uninitialised NAND.
AND Pleae reboot with reformatting enabled.
************************************************************************
***************************************************************************
Raw NAND FTL failed initialisation
Boot Failure Count 8 Panic Fail Count 3
Delaying boot for 0 seconds. Hit enter to break into the command prompt...
root filesystem mount failed

Any ideas?

Thanks

Chris

This does not look good.
Was the phone at this state also before you performed the extraction?

Is it possible that when running the JZ tools you have chosen a firmware version that was older than the one installed on the iPhone?

This could screw up the device.

I thought this is to do with data protection permissions in Apple iOS iphone that changed from earlier version 4.3.1(?) to 4.3.3(?). I believe it's representative of an error to do with Nand_EPOCH and incorrect security epoch number in the tool (you're using) from the iphone version?

I could be mistaken about this though.

I have read about this a little earlier on. Is there any way of fixing this and obtaining the data?

Maybe contact JZ and ask if he has produced the update?

Hi Chris

JZ asked It sounds like it might not really be running 433. Can he boot it without the tools?
