A medical probes transporting drone fell into a lake. The police corps of another canton (Swiss-internal small states) took the drone by divers out of the lake.

Does a drone forensic investigation out of a lake bring additional requirements? Does it need a faraday box to prevent communication processes? I know about date/timestamp splitting but what do you think?

Does drone forensics require the operator to wear gloves? What forensics evidence gets lost if not?

Mainly fingerprints, I would say.

They may have been left on the drone by
1) the owner or operator of the drone
2) anyone else manipulating the drone before take off
and in this particular case
3) any aquatic creature that touched the drone after landing - I mean - splashdown and before rescue [1]

[1] I presume that the divers that recovered it were wearing gloves anyway
