linux printer

how can i investigate printer information on a linux system? is there any document? i could not find anything i want to some general directions and dont want to depend any software and not differ linux distrubutions i want something like registry log or something. how can we find it in the image not just command line

All I can give you is a starting point. It's been a while since I even set up a printer manually in Linux. The printing system is probably CUPS. There is a lot of documentation about CUPS availble on the Internet.

I'm not sure from your post exactly what you're looking for, and I don't know if CUPS generates any files in the printing process, but the documentation of that process should exist since it's an open source project.
