Locating Gmail traces

Greetings,

I just wrote a small bit of perl to change MySpace IM log files into something more readable, basically by stripping out the tags. If you'll ship me a couple example files, I'll tweak the code to handle the gmail files as well and get the code back to you.

Does anybody have experience with Google Talk history? This user had history turned on then deleted it.
