mac and forensics

last year I bought a macbook. I would like to develop app for iPhone. Today I don't did this.
I woud like to sell it.
may I use it in forensics?
What do you suggest?

My son has recently developed an upgrade for an iPhone App for non-forensic purposes. I know from his experience that it is a very long process before the App gets accepted by Apple. This is especially the case for new Apps. I can imagine they would look very carefully at something that deals with information security.

However, don't let that put you off. Just be prepared and good luck )

Yes, especially if you are examinng iOS and Mac OS file systems.

I'd recommend starting here http//www.appleexaminer.com/ as a decent introduction into Mac forensics.
