Mac Forensics Workstations

We are scoping out our Mac forensic capabilities and are looking to build a full Mac forensics program. We are hoping to run software (such as Blacklight) on a Mac OS workstation. Does anyone have any recommendations for what Apple platform to use? Ideally we'd like a racked solution, but may also be willing to look at something like a Mac Mini to attach to our current FREDs, or last resort a Mac Pro. Curious what others are using for Mac OS platforms for forensic workstations?
