C) Tell me how to download/upload these files so that those that are willing can have access to help

Quick tutorial in 6 steps
1) put all the relevant files that you wish to share in a folder on your PC
2) procure a copy of the compression tool 7-zip and use it to compress the contents of the folder to an archive of type .7z (the default format[1])
https://www.7-zip.org/
3) BEFORE the above (I know, I know) get familiar with the 7-zip program and learn how to password protect the archive, due to the nature of the contents it is IMHO NOT a good idea to post in the public web a file that anyone can open/peek into.
4) find a free file hosting site *like* (examples)
https://www.filedropper.com/
http//www.tinyupload.com/
and upload the file to it
5) post the link on the board WITHOUT any mention of the password
6) provide (via PM) the password ONLY to members of the board that ask it to you (as well via PM only).

[1] AND NOT in .zip format

…I now believe this may be the Derusbi virus…

Info on Derusbi virus
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/threats/malware-encyclopedia-description?name=TROJANSPY%3aWIN32%2fDERUSBI.A

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/threats/malware-encyclopedia-description?name=Win32/Derusbi

(The one above is more recently updated by Microsoft.)

Based on what I read, this virus appears to steal credentials and not put CP on the computer. You may be barking up the wrong tree.
