Honestly, I do not know what the problem could be. I have four different images and the mmls did not work in any of them. So I could not determine the partition offset. In order to use fls, I extracted the partition that I need to analyze and I was able to use it, but only in 2 partitions. In the other two, it gave me this error “Error in metadata structure (dinode_lookup More Update Sequence Entries than MF T size). It is interesting, that I was able to sort of overcome a problem and, now I have a new one.
What happens when you open it up in another program, like FTK Imager?
FTK imager opens the image without any problem. Actually, I used it to export the partition disk.
I got nothing.
Update mmls to the most current version, if you haven't already.
Otherwise, you can just examine the partition tables manually, maybe there is an odd bit of data that is throwing it for a loop.
Or just use another program for whatever you are going to do.
