I received a DVD disc with data reportedly collected from a Motorola V3 cell phone. Regrettably, there is no documeetation regarding the software and/or hardware tool used to capture the data.

The data on the disc consists of 3 pairs of files. For each pair, the filename is identical, but the file extensions vary. This results in a pattern as follows

PairOne.s
PairOne.bin
PairTwo.s
PairTwo.bin
PairThree.s
PairThree.bin

It was suggested that I improt them into EnCase as a raw image, but this resulted in complete unallocated space with no discernable data sets that I could possibly carve out for presentation.

Does anyone know what software might have been used to create/obtain such data sets from a cell phone? Does anyone know how these data sets might be processed/searched?

Thanks in advance.
