Is any way to acquire the content (phonebook, messages, etc.) of the Windows Phone 8 mobile?
Thanx for any help )

That's not a very useful search string, is it?
Ricco As far as I am aware, there is no tool to logically extract anything other than media files from either the 8S or the 8X.
Ricco I was in a hurry this morning however I should have mentioned (obvious question I know) are there any texts stored on the (U)SIM Card?

I see your point Polar but, yes, I believe it is a good enough starting point. When I see questions like the one from Ricco it is my assumption that the OP has already performed the basic checks - e.g. http//
Backing up your files
When you sign in with your Microsoft account, you'll be able to save things to an online service such as SkyDrive. When you set up backups on your phone, you canAutomatically upload your photos and videos to SkyDrive so you can see them from anywhere you can access the web.
Sync your SMS and MMS messages to Hotmail® so you have a backup, just in case.
Create backups of your phone’s settings, including the list of apps you’ve installed, your theme color, Internet Explorer® favorites, accounts, and more. You can fine-tune your backup options in Settings>backup.
For example, you can automatically upload your photos and videos at a high resolution, or manually back upyour settings anytime.
Also, looked at the various websites for the examination tools often mentioned at this site.
If the above is no good checking the manufacturer's website to see if there are any updates for sync-ing an HTC phone to the PC, is a really good idea. Hence my offering. I could have gone further and checked all the entries but I did not have the time as I was in a hurry and going out to work, if care you to check the time I made my post.

Polar, can you help us and highlight a weblink from another source that supports your comments above?
From any testing you or CCL conducted inhouse on a HTC Windows Phone did those tests include trials applying AT command set for User Equipment (UE)? - http//
I was merely trying to help Ricco, not to begin an argument with you trewmte.

So why contradict that assumption and ask again, and why quote those obvious resources as you have now?

No, I obviously cannot provide an online source for what is my best belief!

www.3gpp.org/ftp/Specs/archive/27_series/27.007/27007-b70.zip . I am only asking because it isn't possible for me to test every phone on the market.
Good question. I have only tested those AT commands on Windows Phones made by Nokia.

Yes I am sure you did want to be helpful, but so was I. Your reply to me suggested you had misunderstood my reason for posting a response to Ricco and I thought if I helpfully explained to you it would diffuse your misunderstanding. I guess from your comments it hasn't worked. Do remember there would be no conversation, now, but for the fact you raised a question to me and I thought you wanted me to responded. I didn't see your question as rhetorical as you placed a question mark (?) at the end of it.
So why contradict that assumption and ask again, and why quote those obvious resources as you have now?
I am not making any contradictions, Polar. My comments still stand. The fact I have helpfully quoted sources in my view shows to you and other readers that I had not only thought about and considered the subject but was willing to go the extra mile and give links.
Anyway, I intend not to reply further as I consider I have offered Ricco and you a fair reply. If it doesn't work for you or Ricco then maybe someone else can help you both.
Thanx guys for replies. )
I have done a deep research according to this issue and what I've found is the conclusion, part of the data in such mobile phone is encrypted by MS Windows system and there is no way to decrypt them and acquire. At least I haven't found any how-to.
Using backup of the remote mail service needs user password what is difficult to obtain as the content of the phone memory is encrypted and no way to decrypt it.
Only user files can be acquired.
Maybe someday any method can be found.
Thanx again guys )
Cellebrite is able to retrieve contacts via Bluetooth. Okay, it's not exactly the holy grail of WP data retrieval but it might save you a few photographs when doing a manual. )
