Hi Expert,
I have always wanted to get into the Computing Forensics field, and recently I found an Msc. which include a bit of Forensics and security and was developed by a big firm in the security and forensics field. I do believe that many ppl have the same question as me. Does someone who has an Msc. in cyber security can do the job in the forensics field? and vi-versa? is it not better to have knowledge in both? Please give me constructive answers and feedback and fill free to PM me if you want. Also what are the main differences?
Modules for Cyber security
- Foundations of Cyber Security
- Cyber Threat Intelligence
- Host and Network Security
- Penetration Testing and Incident Response
- Cyber Engineering
- Digital Forensics Principles and Practice
- Malware Analysis
- Legal, Ethical and Professional Practic
Some of them can be considered as forensics modules??

Thank you for your comments and feedback
You have posted a poll where the two choices are the same "FS" 😯 , it would be nice if you could change it to meaningful choices.
Instead of the "course titles" post a link to the actual course(s) site, as there might be a better description of each module and of it's content.
Anyway, do review this

I have enrolled at the MSC in cyber security you have mentioned which is being taught at De Montford University. I will be starting this in September of this year. I have been in the field of Digital Forensics since 2006,and believe that in order for me to future proof my career I should do the above mentioned degree (this is my personal opinion) however the MSc in Forensic Computing you mentioned which is being taught at Cranfield is a very reputable course. I do not believe that there is a comparison between the two fields as at the end of the day it is you personal aspiration as to what you are interested in.
What schools offer these degrees?
DMU and Cranfield….
Des Moines University?
De Montfort University?
DoctorsManagement University?
University of Detroit Mercy?
Duke Medical University?
Dixie Middle University?
"MSC in CS at DMU" sounds good, though. ?
