When I setup the poll I clearly put two options but it did not works well maybe due to a b.ug..and I was not able to correct the poll.
Sure ) , I saw your communication about it

done…for the poll….
Please understand how "communicating" does not necessarily mean "make friends with someone else", only to "properly express one's ideas/thoughts while understanding (and respecting) other people's ones".
Which course is better? why? and long term effets?
I just voted for "Computer Forensics". roll

I understand MobilePhoneForensic and do not get offend. As I told you before I did not want to bias any people decision considering what uni to go. Personally my choice was between Cranfield and DMU. As you should be aware I decided to go for a cyber security course at DMU for because I believe that both security and forensic knowledge are essentials for people in the forensic field. I am an open minded individual and always looking to improve myself. But thing could have been said more in a nicely manner maybe cross cultural difference playing here. I did tell the University names in the previous reply. I did not see your post as a question sorry. There was no question mark, my aspiration is surely working in the forensic field but I would also like to assure the security field in case there is no job opportunity and also having a good knowledge in both surely help in real life, I hope that I answer your question? I am sorry if I offence any of you guys, that was not my intention. Can you share with us MobilePhoneForensic, why you choose DMU? I will start another post and will take my time to setup the poll and if any bug will contact the admin hope that jaclaz is alright with this? Hope to see you MPF soon.
Thank you for your suggestions.

Very brief input from my side, having just come across this thread.
The option to add a poll *is* buggy - it's a long standing issue which I just haven't found the time to address yet. From memory, it works OK as long as you don't go back and edit or delete any of the possible responses once you've created the poll initially. If that does become necessary, it's probably better just starting again from scratch.
Apologies for any confusion/frustration caused by this issue, I will try to look into it and see if it can be fixed.

Davismu,
My reason for going for the DMU MSc in Cyber Security is due to the fact that I am fed up of how in the recent year anyone with a degree in computing (or a non computer related degree. I know people in the industry who have degrees in Archaeology, chemistry, Artificial Intelligence etc etc) or a little computer related knowledge wants to get into Computer Forensics, and how a lot of companies chose to recruit graduates over experienced practitioners purely based on how much money they can save on salary. In a company I was working in recently I witnessed 4 people being recruited into Mobile phone forensics just because they knew people in the company and these people had absolutely no experience or knowledge of Forensics at all.
I see this industry having a lot of very experience individuals who make an actual contribution to this field. however, at the same time I see a lot of people in this industry who have no experience who have been lured into the field because it has been glorified by some american TV series.
And the amount of Forensics companies that have opened in the recent years in unbelievable. Soon there will be more forensic investigators and companies then there are cases.
Yes I know a lot of you are thinking "but if you are good you shouldn't have to worry about competition specially from graduates". Believe me I do not worry about the competition I just don't want to be employed by a company then spend my entire time training the graduates!!!! which has happened to me recently.
The field for me has started to stagnate slowly. I want out and after digital forensics me next passion in Cyber Security so that is where I am heading now.

Hey MPF,
Your reply was very instructive and give us a clear idea of the actual forensic career. Sorry for taking so much time to reply but this week was crazy for me. The course of cyber security also contain topic relevant to forensic so if someone want to have knowledge of both. I hope to meet you in person soon.
