We are instructing a few interns for the first time. Now, we need to test them. In EnCase years ago they gave us a CD-ROM with a case on it and a list of questions. We were required to perform as if it were a 'live' case, answer the questions, write a report, etc…
Does anyone know where we can find a 'pre-configured' test case as in the above example?
Yes, we can create one ourselves, but we are also interested in a database of historical results. Such as "in this test X amount of students scored a 90 of 100, an 80 of 100… whatever. Just so we can compare how well we have prepared our interns and did they pay attention in class?
Thank you for your consideration,
Pachuco

The CCE certification exam … one very brief theoretical part and (still?) three practicals.

Not sure I understand. Do you intend to create such a database, or are you interested only in tests that come with such information?
If the latter … you almost certainly have to buy it. You don't want public domain, as it won't give you a real solving ratio anyone could have taken the tests over and again, biassing the results. You want some form of statistical confidence that the field is level. You want timely updates, and changes – especially when unexpected things happen, such as test creation leaving forensic traces of such creation. You want the entire 'test guard' mechanism and management.
Find an establish certification based on practicals. CCE is a starting point, but there may be better choices now.

Very good information that I had not considered. I told my interns that I am good at forensics but not so good at teaching. I think they believe me by now.
Yes, I was looking for a historical and accurate database. Maybe now I will send them to a real teacher with real tests.
Thank you. Going back to my real work now.
